Overview

  1. Writing a proposal is a significant undertaking and even a modest one can easily take 100 hours
  2. So before you commit to writing we recommend making one more go/no-go analysis

The questions to ask

  1. Redo the ROI analysis updated with any information you have learned
  2. Additional steps:
    1. Reread all the solicitation documents to make sure you, or someone on your bid team, meet all the requirements. Pay especial attention to:
      1. Past performance requirements
      2. Bonding, certifications, qualifications, or any other hard requirements
    2. Check your timing one more time to ensure you have the time and capacity to write a good proposal
