If you want to compete for SBIR/STTR funding you need to register with SBIR.gov
1) Click the top button to go to the SBIR.gov registration page
2) Have your company information from SAM.gov available
Ownership Questions
The rules about whether companies who have taken significant investment or who are owned by other companies change from time to time, but as of Fall 2022 if investors own more than 50% of you company you might not be able to apply for SBIR/STTRs. The rules here get a bit technical and depend on a few factors so talk to an attorney
